Mud flaps/splash guards, yay or nay?

As the title says really chaps, what's people's thoughts on mud flaps/splash guards?

Does it help enhance the B6's rugged good looks or hinder them? Photos would be good if you are in the Yay camp if you have them fitted.

They were on mine when i got it but couldn't get over sleeping policemen with them on so off they came

I'm thinking of getting some for mine, genuine ones front and rear. Seen them on Greeny's avant and liked them and they should hopefully keep it a bit cleaner aswell.

If you don't have them the back of the car just gets too dirty, in wet conditions they definitely help with the spray suppression.

I like them on mine. Go for Genuine though as the eBay ones don't last.

Well I've bit the bullet and bought the front set (genuine), just need to source the rears now.
