Multifunction DSG (paddle shift) steering wheel

Hi,
I'm after replacing the standard DSG paddle shift S-Line steering wheel on our MY2005 with an multifunction variant. Thinking might as well do it while installing cruise control.

The existing one has a dual stage airbag and looks like this:

Having read through a few form posts it seems that any steering wheel from A3 to A6 with a dual stage airbag and the correct mode button, like the one below should be okay?

Should be a straight swap with coding.

hello, nmo the airbags are different shape and slightly larger rears on the a4/ a6 ranges

Ah okay, good to know. Found one on eBay from a 2010 A3. Should be a straight swap hopefully.

I thought all the steering wheels fitted any Audi?
