MY 2000 S3 Value

The sad day is approaching when I have to part with my beloved S3.

Can anyone suggest the value at which I should advertise it?

June 2000, 17,000 miles, Ebony Black metallic, full leather heated Recaros, sunroof, AmD chip upgrade, Forge DV (God, why am I doing this?)

I reckon between £16-17k private sale. Has it been serviced?
I can check Glass Guide prices at work, so I will have a look tomorrow.

The best thing to do is to check on websites selling other S3's e.g. AutoTrader, The Times Motoring Channel, Yahoo Cars, Exchange & Mart etc. Make sure you search for private and not trade to get a realistic price /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A friend of mine sold a 99/00 (V Reg) Ebony Black S3 not long ago, usual options, not modified, 20000 miles for 16,500.

You will get more business IMO, selling the chip / DV seperatly... punters will get suspicious of mod's even if they want them themselves. They would rather buy a car thinking it was never modded
