My C8 50tdi build thread

I'm going to do another build thread to document the journey of the modifications to my 2019 A6 C8 50tdi.

Firstly I have ordered some 2020 R8 V10 20" wheels which will be going on in the next week of so hopefully along with callipers being painted probably black.

Windows will be tinted and de chrome window trim and chrome boot light trim thingy.
Also thinking of changing rear diffuser and installing front splitter and side skirts

First little mod completed today projector puddle lights.

Attached some stock pics of the car too
Any ideas of future mods are welcome

Debadge complete on the rear and wing badges.
Black rings next on the list and private playe on too.

Tinted short rear plate on. I think it's a lite high but will do for now.

Black rings also fitted.

First wash done with iron fallout remover as the car is covered in rusty iron deposits.

So wheels went on yesterday
Please let me know what you guys think.
Need black centre caps and but caps.
Also calipers will be getting painted in a few weeks time.

Update!

So recently I have received and fitted the rs grille and also painted the front bumper fin things gloss black to match.

Bumper was easy enough to remove, mostly torque bolts top and bottom, the only 1 10mm bolt either side inside the wheel arch connecting the bumper to the wing. Painted the crash bar and removed the foam section which housed the vacuum line for the headlight washers.

Windows are being tinted next week along with chrome around windows wrapped gloss black

Haven't posted any updated in a while so here goes.

Fitted maxton front splitter, side skirts and rear replacement diffuser which I'm very happy with. Makes the car looks lower and super aggressive, especially from the rear.

Painted the front bumper insert things with glossy black plastidip before the front splitter went on too as there just looked wrong in the factory grey.

Did get the calipers painted awhile ago too and did the dechrome on the back of the car.

Windows tinted and window trim dechrome too.

Also she has been in for a stage 1 remap. Just waiting for a Dyno run to confirm power figures but hoping for 360bhp and 700nm.

Wow have had quite a lot done since my last update lol

Are you using spacers and want offset are the wheels. Stance seems better than standard.
