Bit of a risky post but thought I'd share it with you petrol heads so here goes.....it started out as a 1.6 mk 2 zs 120+ an had the intention of just transplanting a T series T16 turbo engine but then thought if I'm gonna do it then I'm gonna do it properly and forge it withe 86mm arias pistons an pauter rods,660cc injectors,wideband afr,wilky special turbo ( known on rovertech for rebuilding turbos and making hybrid units) steel caged gearbox,avo adjustable suspension an dta s40 pro ecu loads of other things I have forgot about lol but I been doing it for last yr so been a long project and not far off finished,ill post a few pics all comments welcomed good or bad I heard it all so gimme your best lol here's some pics.....
When I first got car....
Strip down commencing....
Very shabby engine bay.....
Arias pistons.....
Washed bay....
Ground an primered.....
Gear box bearings fitted....
Painted bay but I wasn't happy with firewall looking grubby so stripped that and did that too....
Tatty bumper I had a go at repairing for first time lol....,
Ready to build......
too many pics but here's as it stands with engine built....
I know the intercoolers OTT an will give me laaaaaag but ill prob swap it as I had it knocking round in the garage an thought it'll do for now looooool,got loads more photos but I'd be here all night an wouldn't wanna bore you all,if I get 300bhp I'll be happy but the set up I got should see 400bhp over that an ill have to gas flow the head bigger valves an solid buckets plus a bigger turbo an that little list would be 2-3k so it'll stay as is till I'm bored lol plus it's gonna be hard to get power down now with wat it's got!!!!
