My New Audi A6 Le Mans (aswell)

Hi all, I'm new to the forum, and have been looking for a nice A6 S line for over 8 months. I've seen some that were ok, but I waited for the right one, and I'm happy that I found it, in upgraded Le Mans guise.

It seems that with DrMole's post, the South Wales Valleys are popular with the Le Mans editions.






Having moved to this from a Seat Ibiza Cupra, its a big step in luxury, quality, and size. I owned the Ibiza for 8 years, and it was more than a little modified. (Although hadnt really been washed in a year.)





I hope to pick up some tips and tricks from the forum, and hope not to bother you with too many repeat questions.

Hopefully DrMole can advise me whether Audi simply printed a Spec sheet of his car out.

Good looking car. This page on the Audi website https://www.audi.co.uk/used-cars/audi-approved-used/a6.html should help you. You will want to look at the Nov 2009 version to get a good idea of what was standard on your Le Mans

I'm from just above Caerphilly, your from the Rhondda aren't you. Do you know PhilW? He used to have a blue Ibiza cupra.

Christ, I know I own an Audi, but I'm not made of money!

Also is that a reasonable charge? As the audi fixed pricing seems to suggest its 299 for a major service. Car has done 47k

Nice car mate, I am picking up my le mans saloon on Thursday. Been a Seat Leon owner for the last 8.5 years, also modded. Hope your enjoying the A6. I am looking forward to it. I have 2 free services included with the deal I did with the stealers, but luckly can go back to a really good independant garage that I have used for years for the Seat that are a VAG specialist.

Service price typically depends on engine size... fixed price is only for the 2.0 engines or smaller. Stealers local to me quoted about £620 to service my 3.0 TDI... yes, I just smiled a wry, polite smile and left with a "don't call me, I'll call you"

I always do my own depends if you want a stamp in book I can get parts from tps all genuine and I do some great oil n additives ;-)

Lovely car I much prefer the Avant to the saloon I just think practicality having kids and a dog
