MY2018 S5 sportback windows software update

Many of us have had issues with the windows having a mind of their own, not dropping when the door is opened, dropping too much, one touch not working etc.

Mine was back in the dealers yesterday for the umpteenth time.
This time they told me there was a new software update for it that came out last month.
No other details on it though.
Will have to wait and see if it’s finally resolved.......

If you are still having issues, may be worth enquiring.

I also got the update when car was in for something else a couple of weeks ago - I always ask if any window updates as mine has long running issue. Monitoring now. Fingers crossed...

Did this solve your problem? My OSR window dropped last week for no reason (hasn't done it for a while either!)

If it did sort it, I may book the car in for the update.

No it didn't fix it. Still got about 1 issue a month after update.

Saying that I haven't had any problems for a few months now... Not sure what's changed

OK cheers. So frustrating that it hasn’t fixed it.
