Hi there, my name's Martin , 20 years of age , from Middlesbrough

I recently bought an Audi A4 2.0TDi 140 S Line so i thought i best get on an Audi forum

Here's a few pics, i only had her a week and been very busy !

FASH, 1 owner from new (company vehicle) , spotless inside and out, however on 150k

Not too fussed about that , my ex 3B Passat had 225k on the clock when i sold it

Anyway, it's a BRE engine code so hopefully no oil pump issues ! Let's just hope the DMF will last a bit , since there's no mention of it in the service book - still got 3 month warranty on it though.

Been browsing the forum for a while i noticed some people retro fitted cruise control and DIS (i think?) computer/wiper stalk as my A4 has neither of those i'd be very interested if anyone can do it in the North East England, also need to sort out some RNS E Sat Nav. . .

Cruise and Onboard Computer go hand in hand as they both use the Steering ECU. Because your car doesn't have a Onboard computer, you have a 'lowline' ECU.. to retrofit Cruise and the Computer you'll need a 'midline' ECU or a 'highline'. The highline has the ability to retrofit Multi-Function Steering Wheel controls whereas the Midline doesnt.

I completed my Cruise install yesterday, but I have an A3 so I'm not sure where things differ between the two! Do a quick search and you should get some more in-depth information relating to the A4.

I've got a trip computer kinda thing, shows miles to empty, outside temp, phone and radio/CD. Also got a multi function steering wheel

In that case it should be a relatively cheap job to fit cruise, under £100.
