This detail took place over Monday & Tuesday of this week (I seriously need to start doing these write ups faster). It belongs to Matts dad, Paul. He wanted it done following the results of Matts car.
It's a 2005 Mercedes ML320 CDI, with a nice amount of options including a very stylish AMG bodykit & wheels.
On with the detail, wasn't dirty at all to start with, had been washed the previous day.
Hardly any dirt on the wheels!
So onto the wheels first, featuring the usual suspects.
Envy Brush for the wheel faces
EZ Wheel Brush for the backs
Good old Tardis always comes in handy
Then Rinsed
Backs were looking good
Wheels were dirtier than they looked (most people never clean behind, as you can see)
Arches were cleaned with Megs APC
It was attracting some nice wildlife
Then car was then rinsed
Some previous protection on the paintwork
Onto the engine bay
Megs APC used again (finishing pictures to follow)
All the shuts etc done via Megs APC also
Car then snow foamed via Elite HD lance & Elite Snow Foam
Then Rinsed
Car was then clayed using Megs Last Touch & Megs Mild Clay. Lots of overspray on this car from his workshop
