Need Advice Alloy replacement after damage at Garage

I took my car in for a puncture repair on my 8 day old car only to have the alloy wheel dropped subsequently damaging the front face of the wheel.
The garage are replacing the alloy wheel for a new one but do I keep the damaged one or let the garage keep it ?

Doubt they will let you keep it. Still worth money with slight damage. If they do let you keep it then keep it as a full size spare as most likely you got a can of gel or space saver wheel.

once the garage replace it, youve been made whole.
if you get to keep the old one, thats a bonus not a right.

The fact that they giving a replacement doesn't make sense to keep the damaged wheel with you. Let them handle the damaged part.
