I serviced my car about 3 weeks ago oil filter, fuel filter, air filter and oil change, everything was fine until a couple of days ago. I now get a very rough, chuggy iddle very near stalling and jumpy start when moving off slowly. Ive bought new spark plugs will fit them tonight. Any ideas what this would be if this doesn't fix the problem?

Hope it's not serious

Its fine up the higher revs anything below 2k and its jumpy, idling and she's very erratic and near stalls. I had the car at audi for the recall but they said my coil packs where fine

I replaced the plugs no change. I have unplugged the MAF and that seems to have cured the problem, not jumpy on low revs and staying at a steady 800rpm at iddle, so am i right in assuming it's the MAF?

If so is it safe to drive the car with this unplugged until i can get a replacement as the ESP/Traction Control triangle is now on?

Also, should i try and clean it before buying a new one?

Yeah, it's safe to run with it unplugged. Giving it a clean can't do any harm, worth a shot before you shell out £80.
