So today i finally managed to get my intercooler fitted on my S3 8p 2010.. i went for the Wagner after hearing great reviews and tbh i think i made the right decision.. if your looking for an intercooler at a great price with great service give dan a call at CLP automotive top bloke and couldnt answer enough tuning questions for me..
Also installed the the lower temperature setting NGK iridium spark plugs and RS4 return valve. I know theres a lot of threads regarding these plugs (NGK-BKR7EIX) and if there worth getting but straight away my car feels so much smoother and a lot quieter I think thats a mix of the plugs and the cooler tbh, just a map tweek now as im already at stage 2+
These cars never fail to amaze me at the tuning capabilities.. hope this thread helps

Glad youre pleased with the results.

Once summer arrives,it'll be even more worthwhile.

Plugs.....there's another tin of worms.....mine still runs on the stock choice, and when Storm tried a colder set last time out, they just got a misfire in return.
Figure that out!

Mad that is alex! I can honestly say its running so much smoother. I had a little cough from the exhaust every now and again thats pretty much dissapeared.
Question for you alex the intercooler was fitted yesterday and i can honestly say i didnt feel any difference power wise but having driven it today it feels like a different machine, seems to be pulling harder especially later in the revs say after 4,000, however it was probably warmer today than it was yesterday, is it a case of the more the cars driven the more the ECU learns and adapts to the bolt on upgrades?

I'd think it's maybe down to colder air in the morning.

My old Escort always felt considerably stronger on a cold, humid morning, and a bigger I/c will obviously maintain inlet temps far better under load than a smaller one.

what did you do with your original intercooler ?
