New Clutch Needed

So my clutch decided to give up on me today. I need to get a new clutch but I was planning to get the car remapped at some point anyway(2005 2.0 Tfsi Quattro).

So I was thinking I may as well put in a stage 1 clutch as a stock clutch will probably wear out quicker than I would like after a remap.

Any help on what to do is appreciated

Stock clutch can hold stage 1 no problem.

But what about if I wanted to stage 2 it? I’m assuming I’d want to upgrade the clutch

Mine had standard clutch on stage 2
When removed, it was not burned out , just slightly more worn on outside edges
Dual mass flywheel on the other hand was rocking like a moonshine tweeker on the veranda
Don’t launch the car or drive really hard but do drive how it should be driven.
had probably done 40k

went for rts full paddle and sold mass flywheel the other day but not got everything back together yet to run in and tell you what it is like.
had one in my 500kg race car and was just same as normal clutch pedal wise but with massive clamp force for stage 2-3. Think they rate to 450nm or something like that.
