Hi, recently got an S4 Avant B8.5 and it's a great car.
Unfortunately, the alleged AUDI full main dealer service history is nonsense at best and AUDI UK were pretty arrogant and disinterested about it. I'm seeing a trend here with main dealers and lack of concern from manufacturers.
Away, no point dwelling so I got to work bringing the servicing up to spec including the DSG fluid which AUDI never touched.
Youtube videos have been a great help but I've recently encountered a problem in that they are generally from America which is fine for most stuff, but as I have the CREC engine there are a few differences and I'm struggling to find much info about this engine.
I know that it has manifold port injection in addition to the direct injection, a revised supercharger with an electromagnetic clutch and the pulley is bolted on with four bolts, the ECU is different as well I believe among some other things. Hopefully the are some people here who know the CREC engine?
I'm hoping to keep this car for a long time!
