Hi Jason, welcome to audi-sport.net. Any pics if the car?

Thanks tigerhonaker,I see you are from Tennessee, very jealous, did a road trip of the South a couple of years ago, amazing place. Desperate to go back.

Hi Sandra, thanks. I’m a bit of a dork with tech, not sure how to upload pics. It’s Sepang Blue, extended aluminium pack, carbon fibre pack,20” titanium rotor alloys,Bose sound, etc. Pre-facelift so “only” 310ps,but it’s quick enough for the time being. Sounds good, but not as sweet a soundtrack as the mkv R32 I had before it. Cheaper tax is a bonus tho!

Hi Paul,

I see your down South from us in Birmingham . :thumbs up:
We have been down your way a few times looking at cars over the years.

I'm sure you know where Nashville is and we live in Franklin which is like 20 miles south of Nashville off I-65 South.

Enjoy that RS3 my man and maybe I will have mine come May or June, maybe. LOL !!!
Nothing is happening fast with the 2019 RS3's that's for sure.

I did just receive something I ordered back in January right after placing the order for the RS3.
It just came yesterday (Saturday) so not what I'd call a quick time frame.
This looks pretty cool and the cap and it matches well with the colors.
It's a light weight jacket ...........

Hey Terry,I wish I lived in Birmingham,Alabama. I’m from Birmingham,England. I certainly do know Nashville, there was a blockade of the State Building when I went, cars circling honking horns & a demo on the streets, hilarious. Went to the Grand Ole Opry, etc. Fabulous time

Paul,

Well my man when you mentioned earlier what you did I assumed you were a little down South of me. LOL !!!

In reality your across the Pond as some say.

I do actually post with some other guys in Englad.
In-Fact I have met one of them in person years ago.
We both back then owned the Limited Edition (Steve McQueen) 2008 40th Anniversary Bullitt Mustangs.
He came here to one of the Bullitt Mustang meetings and I also was there.

And speaking of that Englishman,

And below is English Bob and his buddy John driving my Supercharged 2008 Bullitt Mustang.

Below is English Bob and me in front of the tigermachine.

And this is your's truly holding my two plaques I won at it.

Hey Paul,

My pleasure meeting you here on this Audi internet site.
Below is that Bullitt Mustang it is actually, factually 1 of 1 in the World.
It had to go for the 2019 RS3 to have a Home in the two car garage.

Paul,

Well I had it and loved it for the years it was in my possession that's for sure.
I'm soon (June) going to be 74 so I want to have something New and the 2019 RS3 fits all my wants.
So, Bullitt is going to be sold.
RS3 will hopefully be at Audi Nashville maybe in May or June for me to come take it to it's permanent home.

At Gateway Classic Cars right now and me.

Thanks Martin, looking forward to it,it’s surprising how much hate there is out there for the RSQ3,especially on the dedicated RS forums. Not that it bothers me any, found it quite funny if I’m honest

Cheers q5 man. I guess you are right,as us say,it’s the rareness of it that finally sold me on it,think there’s just over 1,000 showing on the “how many left?” site. I test drove the present SQ5 before the RS,excellent car,but I don’t do the mileage to keep a diesel happy. The later supercharged petrol version was out of my budget,so the RS it was. I’m more than happy with it,and a cheeky remap at MRC could well be happening when it’s our of warranty....over 400hp appeals

All I can say to you here is that I neither love nor hate the RSQ3, the truth being that I, in my ignorance, wasn't even aware that such a vehicle existed - as the old saying goes, "Every day's a school day." I do know that I love my own car with its 252PS TFSi engine, the only problem being that I need to always be keeping an eye on the speedo as I can very easily be breaking the speed limit without knowing it. As an old friend of mine used to say "It goes like s**t off a chromium-plated shovel".

Regards the RSQ3,in my best Michael Caine impersonation “Not a lot of people know that” Even the vag specialist I’ve been using for years didn’t know it existed when I called round in it after I bought it! As you can imagine,0-60 in around 5 seconds means I keep a close eye on the speedo & for traffic cameras, etc, when driving it.
