RSQ3 New RSQ3 Vorsprung

Ordered this in December last year before the **** storm coronavirus started. Needed a better car for the dog as he point blank refused to jump in the back seats of the S3. This is the vorsprung so all options bar ceramics and I think tpms which for some reason isn’t standard. Got it on the 1st delivered direct to Clark Aitken detailing. Have had the front end xpel wrapped plus mirrors pillars and rear bumper plus the full gyeon quartz coating outside and inside.


already fitted a panel filter and I have an alcantara steering wheel to fit as they are only available on launch models or German versions.

I think the rsq3 will be my next car, but in Sportback and green had a ‘basic’ rsq3 for an afternoon test a couple of weeks back. Loved it but would defo have Vorsprung spec

Had a run down to Crieff a week or so back and put some decent mileage on the car. Down on the main road but back via the Cairngorms. For such a high and heavy car it is very sure footed. Even into 3 figures it is very chuckable and is quite happy being thrown into corners like a car much smaller. The brakes are extremely powerful even compared to previous RS3. I think I may put some better tyres on at some point and red stuff pads to cut down on the brake dust.
