New style front old style wings...how??

So I was having a look around ebay last night and came across a damage repaired A3 on an 06 plate and looking at the pictures it looks to have the new style front but the old style wings (newer model had indicators in the wing mirrors?).

Having a read around I thought you could only do this conversion by replacing the wings, but somehow they have managed to get around this, pics below (not sure if im allowed to pinch these for the forum but anyways...lol)! Are these new style headlights?

chances are they are new wings but hes has just had the indicators fitted anyway as they didnt want to spend the money and do the wings as well

I posted that up, i to was wondering this, being a front end cat d they most probably used new wings it seems and just cut a rectangle for the indicator slottd it in and plugged it in again.
