New to Audi

So I picked up a 2016 A6 Avant Black Edition ultra just over a week ago with 26k on it.. 600 miles later and I’m loving it!

It was an early birthday present to myself and “why not” purchase after not being able to drive for the last 18months due to suffering a stroke last year.

SPent the last two days fitting the RS grill inbetween working from home and enteraining the kids.

Black edition S-Line front

Bumper 99% removed, left it attached at the washer jets, just pulled it to one side.

Painted the crash bar with a zinc primmer then hammerite black spray

I ended up cutting the plate holder down to around 10mm smaller than my plate approx.14 1/2" then screwded it into the grill. I removed the extra pieces using a dremel then gave it a quick spray over with the black paint I had left

Next up is the rear, I've removed all the foam from underneath the original plate and machine polished the area to remove any ghosting marks. Need to build up a layer of 3M tape in the recess then stick the plate on with velcro

Ended up using Fourdot Ltd and their affinity plate to get the smallest legal size I could have.
