Noise from back end.

Hi, just got an S3 its a 2001 model. Ive noticed that I get a judder/knock noise from the rear end of the car under hard breaking, it could be when the ABS kicks in but its just weird that the noise comes from the back of the car and not the front as thats where the pump is.

I also get a knock noise sometimes when reversing aswell.

Any idea's?

I get the same clunking noise when reversing. I put my car on the ramps and all my rear bushes are f@@ked. Changing them this week for powerflex ones hopefully this will eradicate the problem
