Noisy start-up from cold start???

I can only describe the noise as a "rattly vaccum cleaner" for about 20 seconds and then disappears. I'm guessing it's the SAI system but how do you check for this??

I think these tend to start to open after time, the body is riveted together, the rivets fail and it sounds loud on start up.. they can be removed.
