Hi all.
Its about time us North Eastern lot got together again and rather than the old cliche of meeting in a car park with out bonnets up, I thought we could all go Karting.
It will be a right good laugh and will be a brilliant way for new people to meet albeit within a competitive motorsport activity!
Date: Weekend to be decided. Probably June.
Location: Teesside Autodrome, South Tees Motor Sports Park, South Bank Road, Middlesbrough, TS6 6XH
Cost: £55 per driver
Whats Involved?
Turn up on the day, have a meet and greet. Get changed into racing gear and have a briefing. We're then allocated our Karts. We'll then have a 20 minute warmup/qualifying round. We're then stopped and put into our grid position and the 40 minute race starts. Top 3 are given a trophy and bragging rights!
I've personally been to 3 of these events, with friends and other forums, and they've all been a brilliant day. Always a good laugh to do an event like this with like minded people.
If we can get enough interest, I'll get it all sorted out.
