I'm looking at getting some new number plates for the car (existing ones are pretty scruffy).

Whats peoples thoughts on 3D Gel vs Pressed Metal?

Also don't really want to screw into new plates, so looking at a holder for the rear and most likely sticky pads for the front.

Anyone bought / recommend a holder for the back?

These are my holders,
SAM 0466
SAM 0467
but the car has a different number now, after it was cloned!

Pressed metal. Stuck on, so no screw holes.

I like the ''german'' dealer type plate holders but the specialist dealer i got mine from does some really good plates so will keep these.

I was only going to put a holder on the rear, as I was concerned the one on the front would protrude too much since there is already a recess in the front for the plate, but it looks ok.

Am I right in thinking the holder sits within that recess?

Yes, it does, snugly.
