OBD Port Security

Just sink a couple bollards into your driveway - good deterrent and cheap!
Yes, it won't work if you have off street parking - but I'd prefer to do this and protect all my cars rather than mess around with wiring and spend a small fortune in the process.

And then the villains that hold a knife to your wife's throat for the car keys demand the bollard keys as well.

I'm not saying bollards aren't a deterrent. They clearly are, and I'm thinking of having some installed when the driveway is relaid in the spring. But just like Diskloks, OBD locks, trackers and every other security measure, they have their limitations. There is, sadly, no magic bullet.

What's wrong with a hidden switch in the power wire to the fuel pump?
(Bearing in mind that the high pressure pump is mechanical driven off a cam in the engine)

Better off with a solenoid that diverts fuel onto the driver's lap!
