Obd2 port missing!

Went to go plug in my code reader and the port is missing?! Undone the centre console to have a look but it’s nowhere to be seen? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Either it has come loose and will be behind or it's in the other location under the dash as you may have a different centre console installed what year etc?

Sorry, it’s 2000 S3 RHD. Where does the other end of the socket connect to, the ecu?

Presumably, you have looked in the other location drivers side lower dash? Sorry, this pic is a LHD but you get the idea of the location I am on about!

OBD port on the 8L is essentially power plus k-line diagnostic wire... the k-line is a 'network' wire that connects all the modules in the car to allow for diagnostic connectivity through the port...

My money is that its behind the dash somewhere (remove the drivers side lower dash panel)... its entirely possible a previous owner had a liquid gauge and instead of running the cable over the dash from the centre console they removed the port from the console and ran the cable drivers side to connect it up that way to hide the cable
