Cleaned my car today and noticed some black specks coming out when jetwashing around the lights, I’d never really paid much attention to that specific bit but does anyone know how to get at the back of the light to clean it properly? I thought maybe it’s a rubber seal that’s let water in but it’s definitely just dirt that’s got compacted

The light unit pops out, just look up how to change a bulb, its one littler flap with a nut behind it inside the boot, ping the flap undo the nut whole unit drops out.

It’s just a build up of dirt.

You can get into them mostly by running a toothbrush or a thin implement between the outer and inner plastic but as above you will have to remove from the vehicle to get at them.

Cheers lads appreciate that, it’s the kinda thing that will annoy me every day until it’s sorted haha, lights are coming out today then

I wouldn’t jet wash a car, forces water into places it shouldn’t be.
