Oil for 2006 1.9 TDI 110?

Hi All

A bit confused as to which top up oil we should buy for a 2006 1.9 TDI 110?

We picked up 1 litre from Audi which was the 5W30 Castrol Edge "Professional", however the Castrol Guide and online retailers all say it is just the usual 5W30 Castrol Edge that we now need and I seemingly can't find the professional version anymore?

Is there any actual difference? i.e is the standard Edge also longlife 3 and is it fine?

hi mate the normal castrol edge 5w30 as a vw audi spec of 504.00 to 507.00 which means it is suitable for audi longlife servicing the latest castrol edge as whats known as FST fluid strengh technology but again it as the same spec and so is suitable

It depends on whats already in there - you shouldnt mix oil viscosity if you can help it.
Best bet would be to change the oil and filter imo.
