I am not convinced the virtual oil level display on the MMI is telling the truth, it is showing lower than it should just after an oil change. I spotted this just as I picked up the car from an Audi dealer oil change last week. I know what you're thinking and I did too ( that they hadn't filled it up). I got them to take it back into the shop straightaway. When it came out, the MMI said to wait for a true reading and it has settled down to three quarters after briefly showing full. The mechanic said they had dipped the oil mechanically and found it full. A week later the MMI still shows three quarters full. Sculling around on the internet tells me I can buy a dipstick to test the level myself and there is a dummy plug where the dipstick goes. Anyone heard this ? It is a 2019 50 TDi which has the 3.0 litre engine.

Thanks for any help

There is a plug in the dipstick tube-this is where you can vacuum the oil out for oil changes. Not sure the part number you would need for the dipstick.
