Oil switch

My oil temp guage has stopped and about once every 2 weeks the oil warning light beeps and flashed for a few second although the car is not low on oil.Does the car use the same switch to control both or are they separate anmd where about would they be located on the engine ??

They are seperate, but if your getting the pressure light flashing then you should be rather worried.

If theres enough sludge built up it could easily block the passage to the temperature sender...

So does anyone know where the switches are located then ??

They are on top of the filter housing.
