Bit of an exclusive this one because at the time of working on it, it was one of only 3 white R8's in the UK. The customer had been waiting 18 months for it to be delivered and was made various different offers by people wanting to jump the queue, one person even offered him a blank cheque after he had turned down his offer of the OTR price plus £30k!!!

The overall condition of the car was very good considering the dealership had cleaned it but there where a few RIDS on various panels and some light swirling on the carbon fibre & panels but nothing that would require any intensive work.
It was a bit dirty with quite a bit of tar spotting as the customer had been caning it about for two weeks before I got there. :racer:

The carbon fibre looked amazing after maching it with the PO106FA and a coat of Royale, I ended up taking about 40 pics of just the carbon panels! :hubbahubba:

Procedure:

5 stage wash (pressure rinse/tfr'd and left to soak for 5 mins/rinse/2 bucket wash/rinse)
Tar remove, rinse, clay
Final Polish (Menz PO106FA with Megs yellow pad on rotary)
Paint Cleanse
Zymol Royale

Simply Awesome!!

I was followed through a tunnel by a black one of these beasts and the sound was immense - even with my window up and stereo on!!!

Nice correction there - now it's even more exclusive - probably the best detailed R8 in the country!!!

Nice to see an R8 detailed properly for a change; seen quite a few owners go for lower quality finishes, which is surprising given the car (or perhaps reflects the number of options boxes they ticked lol!). Great work. :icon_thumright:
