Having just got my hands on my first Audi (a Q5), I've bought a SIM card primarily to get live travel information in the Nav Map.
The SIM has gone in fine and I've gone into the Nav settings to switch in traffic data and then selected the "Traffic" option from the Map Display options
The thing is, nothing seems to have changed. I thought that the live traffic info came from Google and so assumed that the Map display would change to Googlemaps, but that hasn't happened. Is my assumption wrong?
Equally, do I need to set a destination before the traffic info comes up on the screen as I'm not currently seeing anything at the moment?
On a slightly different note, is there any way that I can set the car up just to open up a data connection every time I start the car? At the moment it's asking me to confirm that every time I start the engine.
