Drove not more than 10 mins in the pouring rain at speeds not more than 30mph this morning. Parked car at train station and noticed smoke coming from the front grill area. On closer inspection the front of the car was very hot to touch and the smoke was actually heat being released made visible due to the colder climate.

No coolant warning lights on the dash or leaks visible on the drive at home. Any ideas?

'Steam' not smoke, off the radiator and/or intercooler matrix (depending on your driving).

Parked outside overnight too?

No worries, it's a common observation...

Very common.

You want to see it after a spirited drive! :)

Yep parked outside overnight. Sounds like another "feature" of RS3 ownership. Never seen anything like it on any M cars or AMGs so got a bit concerned this morning.
