Q5 (P) Parking red light keeps turning off/on

Has anyone noticed while sitting in their car that the (P) red symbol goes off and on. I’m sitting here just now at the school, engine off and gear stick in P and brake on (automatic)

Yet the P symbol goes off, then after 10-20 seconds it comes back on, then I hear a click followed by a low buzzing noise while it’s on. Any idea what it could be? Is this normal

Turn of the interior monitoring for alarm, sit in car, lock & see of exhibits same behaviour on the button.

My Macan parking (P) red light does the same, but with no click or buzzing noise...I’m also not sure why it does this, but not too worried about it!
