Hi guys.

Unfortunately my 5 year old A4 Avant (2.0tdi), which I've had from new has started to give me problems. Back in November the EML came on and I've only just been able to get it booked it in for diagnosis, well the fault code that was found was 'P200200-particulate trap bank 1 efficiency below threshold'
Which I understand, we don't do long mileage anymore due to the last few years with covid but I've been quoted for £1500 for parts and labour to change the EGR valve.
My question is would that fault code indicate that the EGR valve needs replacing?

I'm going to see if I can clear the EML by putting some redex DPF cleaner in the tank and run the car for a while to see if I can start the DPF regeneration.

I'll keep you posted.

You can get the egr mapped out not sure about DPF sensors

Did you get this sorted? What fox did you have, did the redex DPD cleaner work?

Is there any updates on this issue, my car is having the same problems. The EGR delete seems a simple process but I thought the DPF had to be deleted or modified too so it doesn't block

Did you get this sorted? I’ve just been quoted £2,000 by Audi to replace my 4year old A4 Avant’s EGR valve

Hello guys, how did YOU fix the problem? Was it the clogged EGR cooler?

I'm currently facing a similar issue. A specialist DPF cleaner identified it as an EGR problem. Unfortunately, I'm unable to send direct messages as I don't have enough posts here.

Adamvaughaan, I can't DM you for the same reason. :sadlike:
