part number help

How can I find out the part number of this plate holder? would it be a japan only spec part?

Looks very strange that. It still has the cutout for the long number plate, and is only colour coded to match the bumper line.

I was passing an Audi dealer today so I dropped in and the parts guy looked it up for me, I ordered the china version which is different to the jap/us version and should suit my short euro plates a bit better, it costs 80 euros and I should have it in about two weeks

Looks horrendous. Also a Jap style plate on a German motor.. but each to their own.

the china version does not have the square plate holder sticking down, its more like a blanking panel with a recess for a short plate, my plate has only 5 characters

China spec plate panel fitted, needs to be painted but then so does the bumper and bonnet
