Passenger door won't open

hi all, could do with some help on this.

Front passenger is not opening via remote. So we was unlocking from the handle on the inside.

However I'm unable to do this now as it won't open from the inside either.

I think it's now stuck in a deadlock mode.

What's everyone thoughts on this. Part number would be nice if someone knows what it is.

I know I should search for hours upon hours reading through posts but I don't have the time on my phone.

If you do a search there is info on this, something to do with a faulty microswitch

Ok so I've replaced the actuator
Here's the part numbers
Left lock actuator 8J2837015a £121.74
Bowden cable 4h0837099 £10.12

Don't do what I did and buy the one off eBay using part number 8J1837015A. Yes this is for left door Audi A4 B8, all fits except for the electric connector.

Bought the actuator for my rear door that wasn't working, when I took the door panel off and had a play around it started working again...strange one!

My battery was on its way out so I've changed that ,so we shall wait and see if it happens again.
