Passenger Occupation?

Hi All,

1st post on here - I have recently bought a 2016 Audi A4 TDI Ultra Avant.
Well happy with the car apart from the Passenger Occupation went after someone sat in the passenger seat for the 1st time - now I have to just plug the passenger seatbelt in to avoid the warning noise which is annoying.

Can this be switched off by Audi?

The only time I've had this in cars before was if I laid something with a bit weight on the passenger seat or if the wife was driving it and she put her handbag there (trust me, it is heavy!!)
