Just found out that when in my car I cant use internet on the phone as it thinks the sim card has been removed.
Phone is connected to the car and all works fine, phone, google maps etc

An old post, but I'm having the same issue with my phone. When paired to the car, my phone displays a message "SIM card removed, emergency calls only", therefore I'm unable to search the internet etc directly from my phone when its paired to the car. I can make and receive calls from the cars hands free. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
