All S-Lines came with 18" RS6 style wheels as standard, I promise....

mine didnt, it came with the old RS4 style 18's

That would have been an option specified at point of sale then. They're not the standard wheel.

I've seen plenty avants with this setup up to 05 than they seem to be on the S Line wheels. Makes me believe there wasn't a specific wheels designed for the car but you could choose either option for the same price.

The RS4 9 spokes was an optional extra but not for the 1.8t s-line

The ones you see may be a sport with the sline/GMBH kit on it from factory being a late one like mine is and then the buyer added the wheel upgrade
