blimey - what's the ride like on 20"?

The ride is just as good, as if they were on 18" or 19" inch rims. I also fill them with Nitrogen, as this gives a quieter ride, and better response, and a few extra miles per gallon.

I'm wanting to get some nicer wheels for the car - any recommendations? I prefer "many spoked" alloys to the "mags" style ones you see a lot of here...

Hey A....nice ride you have there mate.
you could try the twin 8 spoke design as I had on my A6 from new. They are nice but difficult to keep clean. I've sourced a set in immaculate condition for you from Ebay c/w decent tyres too....probably pick the mup for around £250 if interested I'd say

Nice wheels - need to do some photoshopping to visualise what they'd look like on mine!

Best part of £300 including postage - shame they're in Ireland though...

Hi A....they are nice wheels but as I said a beeatch to keep clean. I was forever at them whe nI had them on my A6. I opted to replaced them with the 17" TT Trapeze wheels which I love and are easier to keep clean.

Such a shame you only just posted this as I had a set ( immaculate condition c/w tyres, 2 of which had 5mm tread and 2 needed replacing ) until recently. I sold them on Ebay to a local guy as it turned out for £220

What about the RS4 style wheels ( twin 5 spoke design ) wouldn't they fit your requirements?

I'm quite partial to the style on the black allroad a wee bit up the page - 936ADL's...

I'd quite like some wheels that are of the same vintage as the car, not for example putting 2009 A6 alloys onto a 2004 car, if you know what i mean?

I got these of York Audi's ebay site. Got them for a real bargin of £570.00 delivered. They may have some more sets available, as each dealer was issued four sets for when the A5 was launched, and it looks lke none of them were sold.
