Pipe between master and slave cylinder

Good afternoon,

yesterday I lost clutch and the pedal would hit the floor and not bounce back up, I have looked and believe I had a bad leak coming from the master cylinder and in particular where the pipe that goes to the slave cylinder clips into the master,

does anyone know if it’s meant to have a little rubber o ring on the pipe going into the master?
Any help would be much appreciated

Any ideas? I’ve bought a kit with rubber o ring and im still getting leak from the same place.
I can only think it’s the pipe but im unable to find a hole etc in the pipe also I can’t find a like for like pipe either
