Looking for some feedback on engine condition.
Turbo failure on my forged 1.8t due to some foreign body sucked in. Bottom end was rebuilt with forged pistons and ZRP rods 20k ago (head not so and had done 60k)
On further turbo inspection there was excessive bearing wear so tearing down and checking bores and bearings to be safe.
Pistons just out and look okay, as do bearings, but will be putting them back in with a set of Goetze pre gapped rings and would appreciate feedback.
Bores certainly need a hone which I will do myself.
