Oops! Although it looks like the passenger area suffered relatively minor intrusion.

Edit: Actually the article says they were hit by an A3. At first glance this looks like an 8V Police Car but now i'm not so sure as it could be a (now squashed) A4?

I suppose it's one way to get a Cabriolet. Get the Fire Service to cut off the roof. Amazing that the guys only had minor injuries.

Crashes like this always look worse as people see the picture of the crashed vehicle after the Fire Brigade have cut the roof off. A before pic will show why they came away with minor injuries.

#5 however showed an A6 Sportback, when it is in fact a saloon.

well post 5 said it was an A6, and the picture was there to compare the front of the car, because there is not much left to see of the back anyway.
