I know there's a thousand threads off this, but heres another anyhoo.
I bought a Dodo Juice Buff Daddy from Juicey Detailing, big shout to Jen & crew for best price and quick delivery.
I also bought the AutoFinesse revitalise kit, Juicey didn't stock so I went to Clean My Car.co.uk, again speedy delivery.
I was a bit nervous to start with because you hear some horror stories, but all went well.
Started off as usual, snow foam and wash with a 50p sponge and bucket off dirty water. Lol.
Dried off with Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth towel, those things rock, great purchase again from Juicey.
Clayed the car, with some old blu-tac. Lol. Then re-washed and dried.
Then on to the polish stage.
The AutoFinesse kit comes in 3 stages, cut, polish, refine.
So although it takes a while, the finish is worth it.
Although you don't need to use the first stage on all cars, I used it coz I had some major swirls going on.
Took a little while to gain confidence with the DA, was worried about marking, marring but I was surprised how forgiving it was.
As you'll see in the pics some off the swirls were quite bad.
Long story short, after the 3 stages and a wipe with a microfibre cloth, car was done.
I then sealed the car with AG Exta Gloss, well easy to put on giving good hazing. Left for half an hour.
then I decided to use the DA to take it off, so used the finish pad and gave the car a good going over.
It certainly made taking it off much,much easier and as a bonus gave a really good shine.
Thats pretty much it, and typically as soon as I finished the rain started, giving me a chance for some bead pics.
