Morning Nick,

I see you’ve been a member since 2011? What cars have you had?

Pops and bangs generally come when mapping, running slightly rich from my understanding. In terms of exhaust system...

If your looking to go above 300BHP, you’ll need to look into going with a hybrid setup.

These are some of the things off the top of my head.

3” Downpipe and decat
3” catback system
AET-380 hybrid turbo system (Badger5)
610cc injectors
AEM water meth injection system
DW65 in tank fuel pump
Large front mount Intercooler (Toyo)
Custom remap
Forged rifle drilled Conrods
Supertech exhaust valves
Catcam gold springs
Badger5 TIP (turbo intake pipe)
JR cone filter

Cost wise £4000-5000+

Other things to consider are brakes, clutch, suspension and tyres.

Alternatively..... to achieve 270-280bhp

Large front mount Intercooler (Toyo/Airtec)
3” downpipe and decat
2.75” or 3” catback system
Badger5 TIP (turbo intake pipe)
JR cone filter
Custom remap

Cost wise £1500-2000

Food for thought bud

hi thanks for the reply.
so basically for stage 1 or stage 2 remap am I right in thinking nothing would need changing on the car?
anything above that and its what you have listed above, costing quite a bit.

No stage 1 you need no mods for stage 2 you need the 270-280 bhp list

Ok thanks for that, I appreciate the advice. so, for a stage 1 remap can you tell much difference in the car afterwards?
And is there anywhere in particular you would recommend ? I'm in Northampton.
And to get 300hp, is there anywhere you would recommend going to to have it done?
Sorry for all the questions, its just that I've had the car for years and don't want to ruin it getting it done wrong or dodgy if you know what I mean!
many thanks in advance

right, had a stage one remap put on the car but when you put your foot down accelerating through the higher gears its been holding back, the rev counter shoots up as if you have the clutch in still, before going down again then the power kicks in. had the remap taken off again as the bloke says it could need a new clutch?
is this the case? if so what clutch would anyone recommend?
any advice would be much appreciated cheers and thanks in advance
cheers
