If a prosecution is hanging in the air Plod would have to gather the evidence, not you. It is down to them to prove it's your car - not down to you to prove it isn't!Like I said, you're not wrong, so let's agree to disagree and get on with the pic thread.

Audi A3
Here's my lovely new acquisition - Audi A3 Sport 2.0TDI Sportback 150PS. Very pleased with it and been following the forum for several weeks. Great tips and help; well done!

Got £4K off the list price on this March 2013 demonstrator with 7500 miles on the clock. Has some nice extras like Sat Nav, Audi Sound System (it's awesome - don't know why anyone wouldn't add this as an option!), Audi Park Assist with Park Assistance, Comfort Pack, Sports Seats. Just missed out on DAB, but hopefully I can find a suitable add-on after FM is turned off - if it ever is (I hope not!).

Cheers.

The saloon is no longer on order now then. I know which one of those cars I'd like to be seen in..

Nope, collected last weekend. The hatch is sitting on just over 26k now so is doing much better on the fuel consumption but I prefer the saloon from a driving comfort point. Both have the same spec so not much difference once in the cabin. The hatch has continental sport contact 5 tyres where the saloon has come with contact 2 tyres, which are not as good in grip terms but less noisy. The saloon is switching to my winter wheels this weekend which are 16" so will be even more quieter.

Very nice. The 3 door just looks right from every angle. In my opinion it's far better looking than the 5 door family version.

Like the deflectors on the windows, where we're they from and how are they fitted ? fancy some of them on my brill red S line.

Nice nice motor.

Looking good, exactly like mine only cleaner!

I previously had the a3 8p sportback as my previous car and prefered it alot more than the 3 door version of the 8p. But looking at the hatchback vs the sportback in the 8v.. the hatchbook took me that little bit more so i chose it.

The wind deflectors are from ebay. they are team heko tinted wind deflectors, they push up into the rubber around the top of the window and then 2 clips each end of the window to hold them in place. SIMPLES.

Sorry for the delay in commenting back. My iphone and ipad for some reason wont let bring up a comments box no more so have to wait to be on the computer.

5 door family version?!! LOL!

I personally think the complete opposite - the sport back actually looks way better than the three door. The new A3 in 3 door looks a little odd, dull even. Since Audi have dumbed down the A3's look so much, the three door has really not done well from that on the looks front. I don't really need 5 doors on my S3, but I went for the SB as it was the better looking car and the extra space is nice to have when I am using the car to go fishing. The A1 is a better looking car if you want a three door audi hatch back. Just my opinion of course :undwech:

I think the sportback looks better as well, more 'grown up'!

Being 20, it's the perfect chance to have a 3 door as I had a sportback last time ... Each to their own though. Personal preference and all that jazz !

Is it me or do these photos look wrong.S/line steering wheel but no badges, and those wheels,i tried to order them for my s/line and they said no can do.

it's not the Sline steering wheel. just the optional flat bottomed wheel for europe, the one I have.

It's not mine but it is a beauty!

Which do you prefer Lee, the rotors on the silver SB or the amalfi's I posted?

I'd have to seea photoshop but I like the ones on the silver sb I like a nice classic 5 spoke,

Could have a set of each, summer and winter wheels :)

Tend to agree with you on that Lee. The rotor arm is a timeless piece and to date still available as an optional alloy on current Audi models. The static stance with the rotor arms on the silver SB just looks amazing with so much presence wouldn't you agree?

Completely agree, the stance is just perfect

Sorry my 2p worth .......why would you .....?
Sh1t....enough to put me off silver.....but then I am middle aged.

Quite agree that is just too low and silver just does nothing for me, many years ago I had 3 silver Astra's one after tother and I think it put me right off it towards the end

I think the silver sets it off with the low stance, I think it's just right, standard is too high, airbags go too low and that's just right

Apologies it's a dodgy picture but was wet and dark. Get her delivered today. Better than I thought, looks great and brilliant to drive. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1389734908031397

Hi All,

Had my detailer sort the paintwork on my new car. Took some shots of it on what was a stupendously hot day (see the picture of the dash with the temperature in the bottom right!

Cheers,
