Post pics of your B7 A4/S4!

Got some nice pictures last weekend whilst i was out for a little evening thrash in the S4
And people say the S4 and RS4 B7s will never be classics. One day they will be very much sort after, that is to be sure. Credit to you Greeny!

Don't think I've ever posted on here even though I've been around since 2019ish.

On my 2nd b7 now, used to own a stage 2+ 2.0 tfsi quattro special edition, now have a DTM. Have big plans for this one, currently I'm just ploughing through maintenance items and making sure it's running as it should.

Hi all owned my lava grey 2.0T BUL avant special edition with 147k on 6 months now and about time I put some pics up. Tinted the rear glass, LCR splitter, rear wiper swap and plates the cosmetic changes. Few bits of lacquer peel and rust spots to sort next on my list.

Looks very nice chap , its a later special edition, mk2 or Facelift as some call it.
The major difference are the lemans alloys replaced the Spoke design ronals found on the DTM and mk1 special eds.
Window brightwork and roof rail were changed to black instead of the satin silver.
The grille surround became black instead of chrome
Clear corner headlamps were also standard.
and some minor interior changes but only minor.

The later special eds such as yours basically became a facelift version, but still the same great car.

any thing else just ask.

And don't forget, the B7 2.0tfsi special editions inc the DTM's were made by quattro Gmbh at the RS factory at Neckarsulm so in good company with the RS and S varaints

Ah, I had heard this when picking up some heated seats for it. Chap said they were built on the S and RS line. I had deemed it an old wives tale, but is you've confirmed it. All very interesting.

black headliner I believe is another feature of the S.E. that many other didn't get...?

Yes , black headlining is standard on special eds.

If in doubt the easy way to identify a genuine special edition is by the label under the bonnet on the top of the inner wing, it will say "quattro gmbh" on it, also the chassis VIN numbers start with WUAZZZ
If it does start like that it is not a special edition.

Hey again, had a look today at the sticker and chassis numbers, and as you said Quattro GMBH. I have a proper feeling of something exclusive now. Although not as exclusive as the rest of the cars from that factory.

Are the S4 door blades much more than the S Line items...?
I have seen a set and might be tempted

Mine starts with WUAZZZ so special edition for me as well.
The S4 blades are a lot more chunky , you might be able to see them on mine

Be very carefull before parting with your cash for any S4 door blades, Make sure the attachment section is undamaged and they are not rusted, otherwise walk away.

My only real gripe with the special editions is that they weren't really made special enough.
They could have added a few more bits and bobs to just make them a bit more , well ,special.

Agreed! As much as I love mine, it's lacking most of the stuff found in the stock S Line cars.
no Bose, no heated seats, no Cruise.
would have been nice to make these bits standard on an SE perhaps.
I'd not have to retro fit it all then...:)
( I have an itch to make it the same spec as our Sline TT )

I retro fitted cruise control on mine if that helps, not a major undertaking
