I went from standard pig nose to flat bottom with a round horn push and even through the buttons were the same on the flat bottom it was slightly newer and was a total ball ache on the air bag wiring !

Car went up the hill today at Shelsley Walsh, impressed with the handling even on the winter wheels I've had to put on early prior to a move north to Scotland!

What’s the drive like with lowering it wanting to do mine

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Drive is superb, steering is much more precise and the car just feels much more planted. Over uneven roads it feels much 'smoother', which I'm putting down to the thicker, better quality coils. Under load when accelerating the car also rides flatter, which gives the impression it's quicker, (I haven't timed any runs though so cannot vouch for any improvements to 0-60).

I genuinely reckon I'll be having these fitted every car I have in future.

That’s good as I don’t want it to make it worse I’m going to look into getting these 100%

New to the site, just got myself this 09 s line and have been tinkering away already
Screenshot 20210827 013324 Google

Since this pic I've already fully machine polished it, prepped it and ceramic coated it and put the roof rack on. Plenty to be done but nice to have a new journey and enjoy a new brand.

Well I had the wheels powder coated in "Racing Bronze" doesn't quite look how I thought it would but it's difficult when your looking at a picture on the website compared to it being applied to an alloy wheel lol!
I'll live with them for a while and if I'm still not sure I'll get my spare set re-done in a very dark gunmetal / almost black and turn these summers into winters.

After much consideration between sticking with the stock setup or exploring a new look, I ultimately chose to go for something different. I had the wheels coated in a sleek dark anthracite with a glossy finish, and I'm pleased with the change, or at least I believe I am! Also replaced PS4s to Michelin PS4S’ for all four corners.

 I’d say go for it mate. The only reason why I did not go full black was because every other car had them black and I wanted a bit of change :blahblah1:. Also, they look different depending on what kind of light hits them / angle with which the picture is taken. I was a bit apprehensive even when I picked up the car thinking I have made it a ricer-car but the colour is kind of grown on me since. It also suits the carbon fibre mirror covers and supercharged badges and to an extent the black macan callipers, which I might change to dark anthracite as well in a few months. :yahoo:

Thinking about the carbon mirror covers myself as there's an awful lot of white on my car lol
Where did you get yours from and what's the overall fit/quality like?

IMHO, it is worth an upgrade on a white car. I bought it off a guy on S4 Facebook group, however you can also get them off Aliexpress for half the price of what I paid. Link below to a supplier a mate has recommended. He himself bought from a supplier named Kibowear (again AliExpress).

US $79.99 | Real Carbon Fiber Mirror Cover Rearview Side Mirror Caps S Line For Audi A3 A4 A5 B8.5 B8K 2011-2016

Mods: Power APR ECU/TCU/Open Air Intake/Valved s/s Cat-back custom-fab exhaust.
Interior; Apple CarPlay, Flat-bottom Alcantra Steering Wheel, Audison Amplified Sub Enclosure.
Exterior: Gloss black rings/badges/diffuser/honeycomb grill and fog light surrounds.
The ECS diffuser has changed my mind about the chrome RS tips on the exhaust… I’m going back to Quads, but powder coated black with a slightly larger diameter (3.5”) to fill out the apertures better once ready in 4weeks…
NB. The ECS diffuser sold as ‘saloon only’ is a perfect fit for the Avant and fits in 10 minutes
