From a former Mk1 owner, very nice congratulations!

That's nice, like what you have done with the wheels/center caps. I had one of those front grilles combined with a V6 bumper on my last mk1 finished it off nicely.

Any photos of your last TT?
I think the honeycomb grill is a must to match the as standard lower bumper mesh. As is the contrast of the V6 rear bumper valance….. Inside has been updated… for DAB/Bluetooth/speakers etc but all hidden nicely.
but couldn’t help an R8 style H-gate and gear knob… and an updated flat-bottom grippy steering wheel for a new ‘feel’
All original parts kept to take it back to OEM of course…
And it’s FOR SALE too

And thanks by the way on the centre caps… the originals didn’t look right against the graphite, and I’ve always been not ‘quite happy’ with my solution, so your notice/appreciation makes me feel good… If you know anyone in the market that definitely doesn’t want a cheap high mileage runaround, but would prefer an 80k FSH tastefully modified 225 - (now 265 with option to take back to stock in all aspects), please let me know.
Smiley face

I'll see what I can find...I also had the mk1 in Imola Yellow that was a nice colour!
Kept that one standard but went to town on my second mk1 with the grille, front bumper swap for the v6 one, v6 rear valance, induction/forge intercooler, full set of samco hoses, straight through gtt sportlite exhaust with no back boxes and a remap  all wrapped in ebony black with silver leather interior. It was bonkers fast by the time I'd finished with it (225) quatty as a starting point.
I like your car it's a shame that I've just dropped the hammer on a new digital print press for my print business other wise I'd have been vert tempted!

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work but lots of reward too. Yep business investment comes before cars! Just let me know if any contacts friends or family may be interested in a TT like mine.
I’m going to get round to putting it up for sale over the bank holiday weekend.
It seems silly having it sat on the drive SORN’d doing nothing other than looking pretty. It needs to be driven! But my S4 is so much more practical with kids, so I’ll hold onto that instead

How much are you looking to get for it?
I've just spent an hour or so looking for some pic's of mine but can't seem to find any :chargrined::cry:

Oh no. I’m surprised you don’t have an album on your phone to look back upon with regret…. Like I’m going to do

I paid £5000 for it (1 owner from new , full Audi service history 70k on clock) 3 years ago. I’ve spent another £4000 on it to get it to current sparking cosmetic and mechanical condition…. Id be looking to get at least my original money back (£5k), but will try it at £6000 - someone looking for the right car, with the right history, and all the recent money poured into it will still be getting VFM…. But only someone wanting something a bit special!
However I don’t need to sell for any financial reason, so can wait for that person to come along. I got space to keep it and it’s costing me nothing to have it sitting on the drive looking pretty

Haha pictures on my phone...mate we were still using proper camera's back then lol :whistle2:2001 Imola Yellow and 2004 on the black one, so any pics are on cd or memory cards somewhere
Hold out on the car as like you say someone looking for the right car will come along at some point. :icon thumright:

First pic after collection last weekend.
