Pre Facelift S3 - In Dash Cup Holder

Ok so i read a few Threads about this but no one listed a part number.

I called Seat and ordered a in dash cup holder for the 2000-2001 Leon. I went to get it but it was the wrong one. i paid the £12 quid anyway... I thought maybe i could mod it anyway.

Basicly it fits in but the right side of the holders facia is squared off, not curved like the left hand side. on the S3 dash both sides are rounded off.

does anyone have the correct part number or was this just a load of hot air? if so i will attempt to make a cup holder facia from 2 banking plates and post the tutorial.

When I swopped the card holder in my Sportback for the cupholder I had a similar problem and got around it by modding the front from the card holder to fit. So basically I have a "hidden" cup holder.

Yeah either make a holder from the two blanking plates or grind down the edges of the new holder's facia to make it fit
