Pressure Washers

Hope the right forum was thinking about getting a pressure washer to hose down my car However not to well up on them so can someone recommend any models worth looking at and @ price. Mainly looking to wash the grime off and give it a basic wash before getting to work on the wax and polish

Karchers are good, and there's no need for an expensive one either. We use these ones, as they are plenty powerful enough, but also compact and thus easy to store/carry around...

Thanks for the reply one last question - Like I said not too well up on these would I be right in thinking I have to then purchase a hose to fit on to the tap on the outside of the house and then connect it to the washer ? In other words would a normal garden hose be ok would it just need clicking into place on the washer?

Yup - you need a standard garden hose with something like a Hozelock connector in the end to plug into the pressure washer.
